After I place my order, when will I receive my product?
Orders before 2:00pm PST Monday through Friday are usually processed and shipped the same day assuming payment has cleared. If not, your order will be processed and shipped the next business day after payment clears. Shipping times vary on location and depend on the shipping service you select. We ship both UPS and FedEx. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you the second the shipping company assigns them.

What is the availability of the products in your store?
On a product's page, if the availability reads "in stock," your order will be processed normally. For drums, we strongly recommend that you contact us so we can check the stock of our supplier. Because we offer so many configurations, it is impossible for us to foresee what components of a set are not available. However, we will get back to you within an hour between the hours of 8am-5pm PST, Mon-Fri. If you do not check stock and your item is out of stock, your item will be put on back order which requires a lead time of 4-6 weeks.

What does "Configuration-Friendly" mean?

What are the differences between the different shell types?
The choice between different wood types is simply a matter of opinion. No wood type sounds better than any other, however, each wood type has a specific sound quality that is sought after by the drummers who play and support them.

Maple:
Maple is probably the most sought after wood among drummers. The sound it produces is said to be "warm" and it has a smooth blend of low, mid, and high frequencies. With that said, maple is a common choice for most applications. Because maple is such a popular wood, it is often the center of comparison among other shell types.

Birch:
Birch is a harder wood than maple. Because of this, birch has a boost in high frequencies making the drums sound "bright." Birch produces a "focused" sound with lots of attack and punch to go around. It is because of this that birch is often a great choice for live applications where added volume and presence is desired. Also, many find it a great choice for recording because of its focused sound.

Birch/Basswood Mix:
Basswood is a softer wood than maple making it warmer. However, basswood does not resonate or project quite as well as other woods, and therefore birch is used to "tighten" up the sound and help it project. Basswood is less expensive, making it an ideal choice for lower budget drum lines.

Can you help me with my product after I receive it?
Of course. We are experts on the products we sell because we all spend a lot of time actually using these products. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you need help with set up, tuning, and maintenance, contact us and we will get back to you in a timely manner. We don't just process orders here and we pride ourselves on being able to help our customers with tech questions unlike large internet retailers.

What is your return policy?
We offer only the highest quality products from trusted manufacturers with strict quality controls. With that said, we know that you will be happy with our products. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a sensible return policy of 7 days after you receive your item. That gives you 7 days to try it out and decide if it is right for you. Please note: Items must be returned in their original, new, and undamaged condition. Please keep all packaging. You pay shipping for the return.
