The scaled down dimensions and ease of set up make the GoKit the ultimate configuration for drummers on the run. Many will be smitten by its sound too. With a small drum set you shouldn’t sacrifice tone. That sound is direct and articulate, fat and sustaining. It’s also marginally reduced in terms of dBs, making it ideal for smaller venues such as restaurants and churches. It records in a pinch, and to top it all, makes a great practice kit.

There are no compromises in this Taye Classic Design, beginning with a select Basswood/ Birch shell. Consequently, while the bass drum is painlessly portable, it boasts broad tone with unforgettable punch. The toms, in shallow depths, are fast in response and musical in character. The snare yields a strong rimshot, and those ghost notes sizzle.

Funky looking, neo-modern, and edgy, the GoKit will play any music you throw at it, from drum 'n' bass to fusion to bop to Latin. The GoKit is a big sounding kit that will stow easily in small automobiles.

SlideTrack™ Tom Holder: A rarity in the drum world, Taye's original SlideTrack™ allows you to adjust the position of your rack toms along the depth of the bass drum, giving you yet another way to put your toms right where you need them.
SideLatch™ Snare Release: Taye's patented SideLatch™ Snare Release is simply designed for optimum performance: the direct side action release design uses an absolute minimum of moving parts; parts that are normally susceptible to breakage. The knurled tension knob allows easy snare tension adjustment. The unique SlipLock Tension Adjustor feature prevents loosening of snare tension.
